Product Details

The Four Seasons Complete A/C Kit line is built for full air conditioning system service, not just compressor replacement. For this application, 5999NK includes the major components needed to restore refrigerant flow and system operation in one package. The kit is listed for 2010-2012 Kia Forte, 2010-2012 Kia Forte Koup, and 2012 Kia Forte5 models equipped with the DV13 compressor. This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 520531, MK1100) for the same application.

Use this kit when servicing a Kia Forte A/C system that needs a compressor replacement along with related components such as the receiver drier and expansion valve. The included oil and seals help support a proper reassembly during A/C repair work.

What This Kit Helps Address

• Loss of cooling performance from a worn or failed compressor
• Restricted refrigerant flow caused by a contaminated or failing expansion valve
• Moisture-related A/C system issues associated with an aged filter drier
• Seal leakage at service connection points and component interfaces
• System contamination after compressor failure in R134a applications

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle uses the DV13 compressor configuration before ordering. Confirm all connection styles, refrigerant type, and component match before installation. Replace the listed seals and O-rings during assembly, and follow standard A/C service procedures for evacuation, leak checking, and recharge after repair.

Quality Assurance

Four Seasons 5999NK is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The Complete A/C Kit format supports a more complete repair by combining the compressor with the related service parts specified for the application.
