Application Details

This repair kit is built around the caliper specification, not just the vehicle badge, so matching the brake system and piston diameter is essential. It is used on front calipers across BMW Z4, Z3, and multiple 3 Series models from 1995 through 2008, including BMW 325Ci front, BMW 328i front, and BMW 318ti front applications where the OE caliper numbers match.

This part cross-references OE caliper numbers 34116758113 and 34116758114 for the same application.

What It Is Used For

• Repairing a front caliper with fluid leakage around the piston or seals
• Restoring caliper movement when the piston or internal seals are worn
• Servicing brake drag caused by deteriorated caliper components
• Addressing uneven front brake wear linked to caliper seal failure
• Rebuilding a BMW front brake caliper during brake system maintenance

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the brake system is ATE (Teves) and verify the caliper piston diameter is 54mm before ordering. Match the OE caliper number on the existing front caliper to the listed references for proper fitment. Clean the caliper bore and piston surfaces thoroughly during service, and inspect the caliper body for scoring, corrosion, or damage before reassembly.

Quality Assurance

Frenkit manufactures brake service components for caliper repair applications, with fitment defined by brake system and caliper specification. Use the OE numbers and piston diameter listed here to confirm the correct front brake caliper repair kit for your BMW.
