How It Works

This blower motor resistor regulates fan speed by controlling electrical current to the HVAC blower motor. When the resistor fails, the cabin fan may only work on certain speeds or stop responding altogether. This Global Parts 1713518 replacement is built for the Fiat 124 Spider platform and supports consistent HVAC blower operation.

Common Symptoms It Can Address

  • Blower motor works on only one speed
  • Fan speeds are intermittent or inoperative
  • Cabin airflow is stuck at high or low output
  • HVAC controls respond inconsistently
  • Resistor-related blower circuit faults

Installation Notes

Before installing part number 1713518, make sure the electrical connector area is clean, dry, and free of debris or moisture. Inspect the blower motor connector and surrounding HVAC housing for heat damage, corrosion, or contamination before completing the repair. Confirm vehicle fitment for 2017-2019 Fiat 124 Spider before installation.

Quality Assurance

Global Parts supplies this HVAC blower motor resistor as an OE-style replacement for the listed application. Verify the part number 1713518 and vehicle fitment details before installation to ensure the correct match for your Fiat 124 Spider.
