Detailed Description

This Global Parts exhaust gas temperature sensor is engineered for vehicles that rely on precise exhaust temperature feedback to manage emissions and engine operation. The sensor uses an oval female connector, blade terminals, and a 1-wire design with 2 terminals, making it a direct replacement for the original unit on the right side of the exhaust system. Part number 1812355 is listed for 2017-2019 Chevrolet Cruze, 2018-2019 Chevrolet Equinox, and 2018-2019 GMC Terrain applications.

This part cross-references GM OE numbers 55497864 and 55595726 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Faulty exhaust gas temperature sensor readings
• Check engine light concerns related to exhaust temperature monitoring
• Incorrect ECM fuel or timing adjustments caused by bad sensor input
• Emission control performance issues tied to exhaust temperature data
• Cooling strategy problems influenced by inaccurate sensor feedback

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the connector shape, terminal count, and right-side location before installation. Confirm vehicle fitment by year, make, and model, and compare the original sensor connector to Global Parts 1812355 before replacement. For 2017-2019 Chevrolet Cruze, 2018-2019 Chevrolet Equinox, and 2018-2019 GMC Terrain service, match the OE-style connection and mounting location to ensure proper installation.
