Global Parts 3411451 A/C Expansion Valve

BMW Z3 A/C Expansion Valve

Global Parts 3411451 is an A/C expansion valve for 2001-2002 BMW Z3 applications. It meters refrigerant flow before the evaporator so the system can absorb heat efficiently and deliver consistent cabin cooling.

• Fits 2001-2002 BMW Z3, N/A
• Global Parts part number 3411451
• OE-style refrigerant flow control for the evaporator circuit
• Supports proper A/C system performance after service
• Cross-references UAC EX10116C for the same application

How It Works

The expansion valve reduces refrigerant pressure before it enters the evaporator, allowing the refrigerant to expand and absorb heat more effectively. For BMW Z3 owners, this part number 3411451 is a direct-fit service component for restoring correct A/C metering in 2001-2002 BMW Z3 systems.

Common A/C Issues It Can Address

• Weak or inconsistent vent temperatures
• Improper refrigerant metering at the evaporator
• A/C performance loss after system service
• Restricted refrigerant flow in the expansion circuit
• Cooling imbalance caused by a worn valve

Installation Notes

Replace the expansion valve during A/C service when the system is opened. Verify the refrigerant charge, inspect related seals and lines, and evacuate and recharge the system according to factory procedures. Confirm the vehicle application before installation on 2001-2002 BMW Z3 models.

Quality Assurance

Global Parts recommends replacing the expansion valve/orifice tube any time the A/C system is serviced to help maintain proper refrigerant control and cooling performance.
