Detailed Description

This A/C refrigerant suction hose is used in the low-side portion of the air conditioning system, where it carries refrigerant vapor from the compressor back to the evaporator. Global Parts 4812987 is listed for 2020 Chrysler Voyager, 2018-2020 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2012-2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with rear A/C not included, 2012-2016 Chrysler Town & Country with rear A/C not included, 2012-2015 Ram C/V with rear A/C not included, and 2011 Chrysler Town & Country and 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan with rear AC compatible hose assembly. This part number 4812987 is also referenced under OE-style numbers used in catalog interchange lookups.

What It Helps Repair

  • Low refrigerant flow in the suction side of the A/C system
  • Leaks at the compressor-to-evaporator hose assembly
  • Loss of cooling performance in Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan applications
  • Damaged or aging HVAC hose routing on Ram C/V and Chrysler Voyager models
  • Service replacement for a worn A/C refrigerant suction hose

Installation Notes

Verify the vehicle year, make, model, and rear A/C configuration before ordering. Body fitment must match the listed application exactly, especially on 2012-2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2012-2016 Chrysler Town & Country, and 2012-2015 Ram C/V where rear A/C is not included. Inspect mating seals, line routing, and compressor and evaporator connections during installation.

Quality Assurance

Global Parts supplies HVAC hose and pipe components for replacement service. Use the listed interchange references and vehicle fitment details to confirm the correct A/C suction hose before installation.
