Detailed Description

Global Parts System Service Kit 9441885 is built for A/C system service on select Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. The kit is organized around the core components commonly replaced during HVAC repair: the receiver drier or accumulator, the expansion device, and sealing components. For vehicles such as the Audi TT and Volkswagen Jetta, this kit supports a more complete air conditioning refresh when the system has been opened, contaminated, or repaired. This part number 9441885 is listed for 1998-2006 Volkswagen Beetle, 1999-2005 Volkswagen Jetta, 1999-2000 Volkswagen Golf, 2000-2006 Audi TT, 2000-2006 Audi TT Quattro, and 2000-2005 Volkswagen Golf applications.

What It Helps Address

• Weak or inconsistent A/C cooling after system service
• Moisture control issues in the refrigerant circuit
• Restricted refrigerant flow at the expansion device
• Seal leakage at service points opened during repair
• Incomplete HVAC restoration when multiple wear items need replacement

Installation Notes and Tips

Replace the receiver drier or accumulator whenever the A/C system has been opened for service. Verify the vehicle’s exact year, make, model, and HVAC configuration before installation, especially on 1999 Volkswagen Jetta applications with VIN-specific notes. Follow factory refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and recharge procedures, and inspect mating surfaces before installing new seals.
