Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle’s compressor style, belt groove count, and rear A/C configuration before ordering. Match the hose routing and model-year notes exactly, especially on 1996 applications with hoses on top. Replace the receiver/accumulator and expansion device as part of a proper A/C repair, and evacuate and recharge the system according to factory service procedures after installation. Confirm fitment for Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans by year, engine bay layout, and existing compressor mounting style before beginning the job.
