Common Replacement Reasons

• Fuel pump wear causing hard starting
• Restricted fuel delivery from a clogged strainer
• Engine hesitation under load
• Fuel pressure loss during acceleration
• Service replacement for a noisy or failing pump assembly

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify vehicle year, make, and model before installation, especially on Corolla, Matrix, and xB applications. Inspect the fuel tank module, electrical connectors, and sealing surfaces during service. Because no gasket is required, confirm the assembly configuration matches the vehicle before beginning the repair.

GMB manufactures this fuel pump and strainer set to OEM Standard requirements and states that it is built to meet or exceed OEM specifications. That makes the 570-1180 a practical OE-style replacement for fuel system maintenance on supported Toyota, Scion, and Pontiac vehicles.
