Detailed Description
Hella 002850001 is a left headlight assembly for vehicles using an H4 halogen lamp setup and right-hand traffic configuration. It is listed for 1979-1984 Honda Accord, left, ECE and 1974-1979 Toyota Corona, left, ECE. If you are searching for a left headlight for a 1979-1984 Honda Accord or a 1974-1979 Toyota Corona, this OE-style replacement follows the original lighting layout and supports low-beam operation.
Hella draws on OE know-how and a broad lighting catalog to supply vehicle-specific exterior lighting components. This headlamp is part of that range and is identified by part number 002850001 for ordering and cross-reference purposes. This part cross-references Dorman - HELP 56300 for the same application.
What It Helps Address
- Dim or failed left headlight output
- Cracked or aged headlamp housing on older Accord or Corona applications
- Low-beam lighting loss on H4 halogen systems
- Incorrect beam pattern from a worn original unit
- Replacement needs for ECE-spec left-side lighting
Installation Notes and Tips
Verify the vehicle’s left-side fitment, ECE marking, and right-hand traffic requirement before installation. This headlight is supplied without a bulb, so an H4 bulb must be installed separately. Confirm connector condition, aiming, and mounting alignment during replacement to restore proper beam pattern.
