Product Details

HELLA Genuine OE from HELLA parts are built to match original equipment requirements for fit and function. This rain sensor monitors rain, ambient light, solar load, and humidity, then sends signals that help the vehicle react automatically. In a Cadillac CTS, that means the system can vary windshield wiper speed with rainfall, adjust low beam headlight behavior as light changes, and support climate control operation for a more consistent cabin environment. Part number 011178861 is listed for Cadillac CTS models from 2009 through 2019 with a 3-pin connector and camera mount glass.

This part cross-references 84336900 for the same application.

Common Problems This Sensor Can Address

  • Intermittent or inaccurate automatic wiper response
  • Delayed reaction to changing rain intensity
  • Loss of automatic lighting input from the sensor system
  • Faults related to the rain/light sensing module on Cadillac CTS vehicles
  • Reduced convenience from manual-only wiper and lighting control

Installation Notes

Installation requires qualified personnel. Verify the connector style, 3-pin configuration, and camera mount glass/glazing before ordering. Confirm the vehicle is a 2009-2019 Cadillac CTS and match the existing sensor and cable layout to part number 011178861 for proper fitment.
