Detailed Description

K&N VF2027 is a high-performance cabin air filter engineered to clean the air entering the passenger compartment through the HVAC system. Its non-woven synthetic media is paired with a durable polyurethane structure, and the filter is washable for repeated use over the life of the vehicle. This makes it a practical replacement for drivers who want a long-service cabin filter for Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger models.

This part cross-references AMS Automotive 4046 and Gates 24048 for the same application. The VF2027 also cross-references 68071668AA and CF11668.

What It Helps Address

• Dust and airborne debris entering the cabin
• Unpleasant odors drawn through the HVAC intake
• Reduced cabin air quality from a loaded filter
• HVAC airflow restriction caused by a dirty filter
• Premature replacement cycles on standard disposable cabin filters

Installation Notes and Tips

Install the VF2027 in the vehicle’s cabin air filter location according to the service procedure for the specific Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, or Dodge Charger model year. Verify the filter orientation before closing the HVAC access panel, and inspect the housing for debris before installation. For best results, clean and service the filter at the recommended interval rather than waiting for airflow to drop noticeably.
