KYB Gas-a-Just Rear Shock for Toyota Tundra

The KYB Gas-a-Just 554367 is a rear suspension shock absorber built for 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra applications. Its monotube design separates gas and oil for quick response, consistent damping, and reduced fade during demanding driving.

Gas-a-Just Performance Features

• Monotube shock design with separate hydraulic and high-pressure nitrogen chambers
• Up to 25% more damping performance than original equipment shocks
• Valving and components designed specifically for Toyota Tundra rear applications
• High gas pressure helps improve steering response and suspension control
• Triple chrome plated piston rod helps reduce seal wear and fluid leakage
• Supports vehicles that work, tow, or run larger, heavier tires and wheels
• Dust cover included

Detailed Product Overview

KYB Gas-a-Just shocks are engineered for drivers who want firmer control without giving up normal-road comfort. Part number 554367 uses a high-pressure monotube layout that keeps the gas and oil separated, which helps maintain fade-free operation and immediate damping response. For Toyota Tundra owners, this rear shock is a direct-fit suspension service part for restoring control, ride stability, and consistent handling under load.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 37298) for the same application.

What This Shock Can Help Address

• Excessive rear bounce after bumps or dips
• Reduced control when towing or carrying heavier loads
• Soft or inconsistent rear suspension response
• Shock fade during repeated suspension movement
• Wear-related fluid leakage from aging rear shocks

Installation Notes and Fitment
