The KYB Gas-a-just KG4613A is a monotube suspension shock absorber built to restore OE-style control for older trucks and SUVs that work harder than a daily commuter. It is designed for front suspension applications on the Isuzu Trooper, Isuzu Pickup, and Chevrolet LUV, with added damping response for vehicles carrying heavier tires and wheels.

Gas-a-just Monotube Design

KYB Gas-a-just shocks use separate hydraulic and high-pressure nitrogen chambers to keep oil and gas isolated for consistent response and reduced fade. The result is firmer control during normal driving, quicker steering response, and added damping performance when the suspension is loaded.

Installation Notes

Install the KYB KG4613A in the front position only. For Isuzu Trooper and Isuzu Pickup applications, replace the suspension strut and coil spring assembly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Verify mount style and compressed/extended length before installation: 9.06 in. compressed length, 13.98 in. extended length, and 4.92 in. stroke.
