Detailed Description

The Nugeon 97-02430B is a remanufactured disc brake caliper engineered for front left BMW brake applications. It uses an aluminum casting and aluminum piston construction, along with a four-piston layout and a 40 mm piston size, to match the requirements of the listed vehicles. The rust preventative coating and included dust boots support long-term serviceability, while the bleeder screw and included hardware package simplify brake service where the application calls for it. This part number 97-02430B is listed for BMW 330i, 430i, 428i, 435i, 335i, and ActiveHybrid 3 applications with the specified package and finish exclusions.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 172286, 182286) for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Leaking or sticking brake caliper operation
• Uneven brake pad contact from worn hydraulic components
• Corrosion on the caliper body or piston area
• Brake service needs on BMW 3 Series and 4 Series front left applications
• Loss of proper braking response from a worn caliper assembly

Installation Notes

Verify the vehicle’s package, caliper finish, and bracket configuration before ordering. Some listed applications are supplied without a mounting bracket, and fitment notes vary by model year and trim package. Confirm bleeder thread size, piston configuration, and brake hardware requirements against the original part before installation.

Quality Assurance

Nugeon supplies this as a remanufactured brake caliper with application-specific fitment coverage. The design includes a bleeder screw, dust boots, and a rust preventative finish to support dependable brake service.
