Detailed Description

Philips VisionPlus headlights are designed for drivers who want a brighter halogen replacement without changing the vehicle’s lighting system. The clear bulb finish, glass construction, and H7 PX26d base support direct replacement in many low beam, high beam, and fog light positions where H7 fitment is specified. With a 55W rating and 12V operation, this bulb is suited to a broad range of passenger vehicles, vans, and SUVs that use halogen capsule headlights.

Fitment coverage includes 2021-2022 Ram ProMaster 1500, 2500, and 3500 in high beam and low beam positions, 2021 BMW X1 and X3, 2021 Hyundai Kona and Palisade, 2021 Kia Forte and Sedona, and 2016-2021 Mercedes-Benz Metris low beam applications. The H7VPB2 also appears in many Audi, Ford, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Mini listings where H7 halogen bulbs are specified.

This part cross-references Remy 90327 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Dim or aging halogen headlight output
• Reduced visibility on dark roads and in poor weather
• Need for a direct H7 replacement bulb
• Fog light or headlamp service on vehicles with halogen capsule headlights
• Restoring forward lighting performance after bulb failure

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the original bulb type, base, and vehicle lighting configuration before installation. This H7 bulb is used in specific low beam, high beam, and fog light applications, and some fitments are limited to vehicles with halogen capsule headlights or without xenon/LED headlamps. Compare the original bulb to the PX26d base and overall dimensions before installing. For best results, replace bulbs in matched pairs when both sides have similar service life.

Philips VisionPlus bulbs are DOT approved and built to meet road-use requirements for the listed applications. The product is part of Philips’ VisionPlus lighting line, which is positioned around improved halogen visibility and OE-style replacement fitment.
