Detailed Product Overview

Philips H7XVB2 is a performance-focused fog light bulb and headlight bulb option for vehicles equipped with halogen capsule headlights. The clear bulb finish and halogen technology are selected to support a brighter, more confident beam pattern while maintaining the familiar fitment of an H7 bulb. This part cross-references part numbers such as 69860 and BPH7BLX2 for the same application.

Fitment includes a wide range of vehicles across BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Ram, and Volkswagen platforms. Examples include Fits 2021-2022 Ram ProMaster 1500, high beam and low beam; Fits 2021 BMW X1, low beam; and Fits 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, high beam and low beam. The part number H7XVB2 is also used in many halogen headlamp and fog light applications where an H7 bulb is specified.

What This Bulb Helps Address

• Dim factory halogen lighting
• Reduced forward visibility on dark roads
• Need for a direct-fit H7 replacement bulb
• Worn or aging fog light or headlight output
• Drivers seeking a brighter halogen upgrade without changing to LED or HID

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the vehicle uses an H7 bulb with a PX26d base before installation. Review the headlamp or fog lamp configuration carefully, since fitment varies by model, year, and position. For vehicles listed with halogen capsule headlights, use the original bulb specification as the reference point and compare the new bulb to the removed part before installing.

Because this bulb is used across low beam, high beam, and select fog light applications, verify the exact position shown for your vehicle. The H7XVB2 is a 12V halogen bulb and should be installed only in systems designed for that specification.

Quality Assurance

Philips manufactures the X-tremeVision line as a DOT approved lighting solution for road use. The bulb is built with glass construction and standard halogen electrical specifications to support consistent fitment in approved applications.
