Detailed Description

This Pioneer Cables 772055 transmission solenoid assembly is engineered for direct replacement service in vehicles equipped with the listed transmission applications. It cross-references Standard Ignition TCS53 and TCS74 for the same application. Common vehicle coverage includes the Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Sebring, and Dodge Grand Caravan, along with additional Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, and Mitsubishi models listed in the fitment data. The part number 772055 is a practical choice when replacing a worn or failing automatic transmission control solenoid assembly.

What It Helps Fix

• Harsh or delayed shifting caused by solenoid wear
• Transmission shift irregularities tied to electrical control issues
• Fault codes related to transmission solenoid performance
• Fluid seepage at the solenoid assembly interface when the gasket is being replaced
• Driveability concerns in vehicles using the 41TE application, including select Mitsubishi Eclipse models

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify transmission type and application before installation. The Mitsubishi Eclipse fitment note specifies 41TE only. Confirm the vehicle year, make, and model against the fitment list, and inspect the mating surfaces before installing the included TG-31 gasket. For best results, follow factory service procedures for electrical connector routing, torque specifications, and transmission fluid service.
