What It Helps Fix

  • Clutch pedal that feels loose, uneven, or difficult to engage
  • Delayed or inconsistent clutch release during shifting
  • Noise or binding caused by a worn clutch cable
  • Stretching or corrosion in the original cable assembly
  • Manual transmission drivability issues on Mirage and Colt models

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify vehicle fitment by year, make, model, and cable length before installation. For 1993-1996 Mitsubishi Mirage and 1993-1994 Dodge Colt applications, confirm the ground strap is properly installed as noted in the fitment data. Check routing, end engagement, and adjustment after installation to ensure smooth clutch pedal travel and correct release point.
