Extended Life Product Line

Pronto Extended Life filters are listed for extended-service applications where the filter specification, thread size, and sealing dimensions must match the engine’s requirements. The PO241EX is referenced for many vehicles that use a 3/4-16 threaded spin-on oil filter, including select Ford Escape, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Volkswagen Jetta, and Mazda 3 applications.

Detailed Description

The PO241EX is an engine oil filter engineered around the listed dimensions and valve settings for direct replacement use in confirmed applications. Its synthetic blend media is paired with an anti-drain back valve to help maintain oil in the filter between starts, while the silicone gasket supports a secure seal during routine oil service. This part cross-references Premium Guard PG241EX and K&N HP-1002 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Oil contamination from normal engine wear and debris
• Dry-start conditions after the vehicle sits
• Seal leakage at the filter mounting surface
• Incorrect thread or gasket match during oil filter replacement
• Service issues on extended-life oil change intervals
