Product Details

Pronto Extended Life filters are built for extended-service oil change intervals where the application calls for dependable filtration and stable sealing. The PO4459EX uses synthetic blend media to capture contaminants while maintaining oil flow, and the anti-drain back valve helps reduce dry starts after the engine sits. With a silicone gasket and a 20 bypass relief setting, this oil filter is suited for routine maintenance on vehicles such as Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota 86 applications that use the M20x1.5P thread pattern.

This part cross-references Wix WL10078 and Premium Guard PG4459EX for the same application.

What This Oil Filter Helps Address

• Dirty engine oil carrying wear particles and debris
• Oil drain-back after shutdown that can contribute to delayed oil pressure
• Seal leakage at the filter gasket interface
• Restricted oil flow from a clogged filter element
• Routine service needs on extended-life maintenance intervals

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the thread size, gasket dimensions, and filter clearance before installation. Pre-lubricate the silicone gasket with clean engine oil, tighten the filter to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification, and confirm there are no leaks after startup. Always match the filter to the engine application listed for your Hyundai, Kia, Subaru, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, or Acura model.
