Standard Life Product Line

Pronto Standard Life focuses on everyday replacement parts for regular maintenance. In the oil filter category, that means a straightforward spin-on design with the core specifications needed for proper sealing, filtration, and oil system protection across many import and domestic nameplates.

Detailed Description

The PO4612 oil filter is engineered for vehicles that call for a compact spin-on filter with M20x1.5 threading and a 17 bypass relief setting. Its enhanced cellulose media balances flow and filtration, while the anti-drain back valve helps reduce dry starts by keeping oil in the filter when the engine is off. This part number is commonly searched for Honda Civic oil filter, Honda Accord oil filter, Nissan Rogue oil filter, and Mazda CX-5 oil filter applications, along with many Acura and Infiniti models.

This part cross-references Bosch 3300 and Premium Guard PG4612 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Dirty engine oil carrying abrasive particles
• Oil drain-back after shutdown that can delay lubrication at startup
• Restricted oil flow caused by a clogged filter element
• Improper sealing from a worn or incorrect filter gasket
• Routine maintenance needs on high-mileage daily drivers

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify thread size, gasket dimensions, and overall filter height before installation. Replace the filter during every oil service, lubricate the gasket before tightening, and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s torque specification. Confirm the application by year, make, and model, especially on vehicles with multiple engine configurations or regional variations.

Compatible With many 1997-2026 Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda CR-V, Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX-5, Acura MDX, and Infiniti QX50 applications. Body fitment should be checked against the exact year and engine specification listed for the vehicle.

Quality Assurance

Pronto PO4612 is built to meet standard replacement expectations for everyday engine maintenance. Its enhanced cellulose media, anti-drain back valve, and specified bypass setting provide the core construction details buyers look for in a dependable replacement oil filter.
