• Servicing older GM vans, SUVs, and chassis applications that use this filter size

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the thread size, gasket diameter, and overall height before installation. The PO4631 uses a 13/16"-16UNF-2B thread and a spin-on mounting style, so the old gasket should be removed from the engine mounting surface before the new filter is installed. Pre-fill only if the vehicle service procedure allows it, and always tighten according to the vehicle or filter manufacturer guidance.

For fitment confirmation, check the exact year and model listing. This filter is listed for applications such as Fits 2004-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, N/A; Fits 1996-2002 Chevrolet Express 1500, N/A; Fits 1992-2000 GMC Yukon, N/A; and Fits 1988-2000 Chevrolet K2500, N/A.
