Product Details

Pronto Extended Life focuses on longer-service oil filtration with construction details that matter in everyday engine protection. The PO4670EX uses synthetic blend media to help trap harmful particles while maintaining oil flow, and the silicone gasket supports a secure seal during repeated heat cycles. With an anti-drain back valve and a 20 bypass relief setting, this engine oil filter is built for steady lubrication during startup and normal operation. This part cross-references Premium Guard PG4670EX for the same application.

Compatible With long-tail applications such as 1994-2007 Dodge Ram 1500 oil filter replacement, 1993-2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee oil filter fitment, and 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler oil filter replacement. The PO4670EX also matches many Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Dakota, and Dodge Durango applications listed in the fitment data.

What It Helps Address

• Engine oil contamination from normal wear particles
• Oil drain-back after engine shutdown
• Seal leakage at the filter base
• Restricted oil flow caused by a loaded filter element
• Routine maintenance needs for extended-life service intervals

Installation Notes

Verify the 3/4-16UNF thread size, 3.66 in height, and gasket dimensions before installation. Confirm vehicle-specific notes in the fitment list, including 2008 Chrysler Sebring and 2008 Dodge Avenger or Charger models that require a 3/4 in threaded engine stud, and 1987-1989 Toyota Van or 1986-1988 Ford Taurus applications that specify a 4.2 in filter height. Always install on a clean sealing surface and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s oil service procedure.

Quality Assurance

Built as an Extended Life oil filter under the Pronto brand line, PO4670EX uses synthetic blend media, a silicone gasket, and an anti-drain back valve to support consistent filtration performance across its listed applications.
