The Rancho RS98501 steering damper kit is built to reduce wheel shimmy and front-end vibration on trucks and SUVs running larger tires. It also helps reduce steering arm fatigue, improving steering feel on rough roads and at highway speeds.

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify front-axle and steering linkage configuration before ordering. Some Dodge applications will not accept this kit if a vacuum servo is mounted on the driver side of the front axle. Ford Bronco, F-150, and F-100 applications require the tie rod assembly to be in T-style form; inverted Y setups must be converted, and vehicles with a power steering cylinder cannot be converted to inverted T style.
