Detailed Description

BH36621 is a brake hydraulic hose for 1968-1970 Ford Mustang front right and 1968-1970 Mercury Cougar front right applications. The hose uses a female thread SAE connection at one end and a banjo fitting at the other, which helps match the original hydraulic routing on the vehicle. This part cross-references Dorman - First Stop H36621 and Dayco 71316 for the same application. The Raybestos BH36621 part number is also useful when searching for a front right brake hose for 1968-1970 Mustang or Cougar service work.

Common Issues This Hose Can Address

• Cracked or deteriorated brake hose material
• Brake fluid seepage at the hose ends
• Restricted hydraulic flow from an aged hose
• Soft or inconsistent brake pedal feel caused by hose wear
• Service replacement for a damaged front right brake line connection

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle year, make, model, and front right position before installation. Confirm the female thread SAE and banjo end styles match the original brake line connections, and inspect the mating surfaces for wear or corrosion before tightening. Replace any damaged seals or sealing surfaces as needed, and bleed the brake system after installation to remove air from the hydraulic circuit.

Raybestos brake components are cataloged for application-specific fitment, and BH36621 is listed with confirmed vehicle coverage for 1968-1970 Ford Mustang and 1968-1970 Mercury Cougar front right brake service.
