Detailed Product Overview

Schrader Valves 33982 is a direct TPMS programmable sensor intended for vehicles that rely on individual wheel-mounted pressure monitoring. The sensor is not programmed out of the box, so it must be configured for the specific vehicle application during service. Its clamp-in design and 90-degree EZ-sensor angled valve assembly support installation in a wide range of modern passenger vehicles, SUVs, EVs, and light trucks.

This part number is listed across a large fitment range, including many Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo applications. For shops servicing TPMS warning lights on vehicles like the Acura MDX, BMW 3 Series, Chevrolet Tahoe, or Toyota Tacoma, Schrader 33982 provides a programmable replacement option that matches direct-monitoring system requirements.

Common TPMS Issues It Can Address

• TPMS warning light illuminated after sensor failure
• Loss of tire pressure signal from a damaged or aging sensor
• Service replacement after wheel or tire work
• Sensor replacement during seasonal tire changes or wheel swaps
• Direct TPMS faults on vehicles requiring programmable sensor setup

Installation Notes and Tips

Program the sensor to the vehicle before or during installation according to the service procedure for the specific make and model. Verify correct TPMS relearn or initialization steps after mounting, especially on vehicles such as the Ford F-150, BMW X5, and Toyota RAV4 that use direct monitoring systems. Confirm valve orientation and torque specifications during wheel service to help ensure proper sealing and signal performance.

Because fitment varies by year and model, confirm the exact application before installation. This part cross-references common TPMS service applications for the same vehicle coverage.

Quality Assurance

Schrader Valves 33982 is backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty. It is built as a direct TPMS programmable sensor with real-time pressure signal transmission for late-model vehicle service.
