SKP SKFC012 Fuel Tank Cap

Fuel Tank Cap Overview

The SKP SKFC012 fuel tank cap is a direct replacement-style cap for a wide range of gas-powered vehicles that use a tethered, OE-specified yellow cap design. It is built for applications where the original cap must seal the fuel tank opening and maintain the correct cap style for the vehicle.

Compatible With Ram 1500, Ram ProMaster 1500, Dodge Grand Caravan, and other listed applications, this cap supports a proper fuel system seal and a secure tethered design where specified. The SKFC012 part number is also useful when cross-checking replacement options for the same application.

Installation Notes

Verify the cap style, tethered design, and OE-specified yellow cap requirement against the original part before installation. Confirm the fuel tank neck and sealing surface are clean and undamaged so the cap can seat correctly.

Use the listed fitment notes for special cases such as the 2015 Dodge Dart flex fuel application and the 1999 models with the 10/13/1998 build-date note. For Ram 1500, Ram ProMaster, and Dodge Grand Caravan applications, match the vehicle exactly to the listed year range and notes.

Quality Assurance

SKP replacement parts are cataloged for direct application matching, and the SKFC012 is listed with a Mopar cross-reference for the same use case. Part number SKFC012 should be matched to the vehicle’s OE cap specification before installation.
