Detailed Description

SKRHS061 is a headlight level sensor used in vehicle systems that monitor ride height and adjust headlamp aim accordingly. This part is listed across multiple BMW chassis and Mini Cooper applications, including front and rear positions where specified, with notes that distinguish xenon, adaptive headlight, and suspension-related fitment. For buyers searching for a BMW 528i headlight level sensor, BMW 335i headlight level sensor, or Mini Cooper rear level sensor, the fitment data should be matched carefully to the exact year and equipment package.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 172286, 182286) for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Incorrect headlamp aim after suspension movement or ride-height changes
• Warning lights related to headlight leveling input faults
• Uneven or inconsistent beam height from side to side
• Loss of automatic leveling response on equipped vehicles
• Fitment issues caused by xenon or adaptive headlight system requirements

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the exact year, model, position, and equipment notes before ordering. Several BMW applications require attention to xenon headlight, adaptive headlight, or suspension exclusions, and some listings change by production date. Compare the original sensor location and connector style to the catalog listing before installation.

Quality Assurance

SKP supplies replacement sensors for service applications across multiple European vehicle platforms. Use the part number SKRHS061 and the fitment notes to verify the correct application before installation.
