Standard Ignition CP651 is a vapor canister purge solenoid for emission control systems on select Nissan and INFINITI vehicles. It uses a female rectangular connector with two male blade terminals for a direct electrical interface in the purge circuit.

This purge solenoid controls vapor flow in the evaporative emission system by opening and closing the purge path between the charcoal canister and engine intake under PCM command. Standard Ignition CP651 is specified for a wide range of Nissan and INFINITI models from 1998 through 2006, including Nissan Maxima, Pathfinder, Altima, Frontier, Xterra, Murano, 350Z, Quest, and Sentra, plus INFINITI FX35, FX45, G35, I35, M45, G20, I30, QX4, and Q45.
