Overview
Standard Ignition NOX056 is a downstream nitrogen oxide sensor for 2022 GM trucks and SUVs. It is built for direct replacement service where accurate exhaust emissions monitoring is required.
Key Features
- Downstream NOx sensor for emissions system monitoring
- Female connector with a rectangular and oval housing profile
- 4-pin male terminals for secure electrical connection
- Standard Ignition part number NOX056
- Cross-references DNX056 and DNX503 for the same application
Detailed Description
NOX056 is a nitrogen oxide sensor used in the downstream location on select 2022 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 LTD, Suburban, and Tahoe, as well as GMC Sierra 1500, Sierra 1500 Limited, Yukon, and Yukon XL. As part of the emissions control system, it measures exhaust conditions after treatment so the vehicle can monitor NOx output and system performance. The connector design uses one female plug with a rectangular and oval shape, plus four male pin terminals for the electrical interface. Standard Ignition NOX056 is also referenced by DNX056 and DNX503.
What It Is Used For
- Replacing a failed downstream NOx sensor
- Restoring emissions system monitoring accuracy
- Addressing sensor-related fault codes
- Correcting connector or terminal interface issues
Installation Notes and Tips
Verify the downstream location and connector style before installation. Match the part number NOX056 to the original sensor application and confirm the vehicle uses the listed 2022 fitment before ordering. Inspect the harness connector and terminals for corrosion or damage during replacement.
Quality Assurance
Standard Ignition supplies emission control components for service replacement applications. NOX056 is identified with OE-style cross-reference numbers 12686785, DNX056, and DNX503 for the same use case.
