Key Features

• Fuel pump pressure switch connector for electrical repair and replacement
• Male connector gender with female blade terminal interface
• 8 1/4 in. harness length for service routing
• Single-wire, single-terminal design
• Built with materials selected for conductivity and connection integrity
• Standard Ignition S-639 for fuel system connector service

Detailed Description

The Standard Ignition S-639 is designed for replacing damaged fuel pump pressure switch connectors in applications that use a one-terminal female blade-style connection. Standard Ignition focuses on pigtails and sockets for electrical repair, and this connector reflects that approach with a service-friendly harness length and OE-style terminal layout. It is a practical choice when the original connector body is brittle, overheated, or no longer locks securely to the mating component.

This part cross-references Champion Spark Plug 431 for the same application. It also aligns with interchange references such as 1P1054 and PT5557.

What It Helps Fix

• Broken or loose fuel pump pressure switch connector terminals
• Corrosion at the electrical connection point
• Heat-damaged connector housings
• Intermittent fuel pump pressure switch signal loss
• Wiring repairs on GM-based fuel system circuits

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify connector gender and terminal style before installation. This part uses a male connector body with one female blade terminal and one wire, so match it to the vehicle’s original connector configuration before splicing. Inspect the mating terminal, wiring insulation, and nearby harness sections for heat or corrosion damage, and repair any compromised wiring before final connection.
