What This Brake Hose Helps Address

• Brake fluid leakage at a damaged or corroded hose
• Soft, spongy, or inconsistent brake pedal feel caused by hose deterioration
• Cracking, swelling, or abrasion on the original hose
• Corrosion at hose fittings or mounting points
• Brake service needs on front right Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify front right placement, fitting sizes, and the vehicle notes before installation. This hose is listed for applications without a bracket at the female fitting on the specified Express and Savana models. Replace sealing washers when using the banjo end fitting, and inspect adjacent hard lines, clips, and mounting points for wear or corrosion during brake service.

Quality Assurance

Each hose is pressure tested before leaving the factory. Sunsong states that this brake hose meets or exceeds DOT, FMVSS 106, and SAE J1401 requirements, and the steel tubing is zinc electroplated to improve resistance to rust and corrosion from humidity, road salt, water, and grime.
