Common Steering Problems This Part Addresses
- Power steering fluid leaks at the pressure line
- Cracked, worn, or corroded hose tubing
- Hard steering caused by pressure loss in the hydraulic circuit
- Noise or hesitation from restricted steering fluid delivery
- Improper hose routing or fitment after a failed original line
Installation Notes and Tips
Verify the pump-to-rack routing, end fitting sizes, and bracket locations before installation. This hose uses a 16 mm banjo fitting on one end and a 14 mm female inverted flare on the other, so matching the original connection style is important for a proper seal. Inspect related steering components and replace any worn seals or damaged mounting points during service.
