Built for Exact Fit and Corrosion Resistance
Sunsong 3401757 is a pressure line hose assembly for the power steering circuit on the Toyota Land Cruiser. The hose is precision engineered to match the original routing and connection style, using 16 mm male inverted flare fittings on both ends and a 32.1-inch overall length. High-grade steel tubing with zinc electroplating helps resist rust and corrosion from humidity, road salt, water, and grime, which is important for long-term service in demanding driving conditions. This part cross-references Gates 358800 for the same application.
Common Steering Problems This Part Can Address
- Power steering fluid leaks from a worn or damaged pressure hose
- Loss of steering assist caused by pressure line failure
- Noise or erratic steering response related to hydraulic pressure loss
- Corrosion-related hose deterioration on Toyota Land Cruiser steering systems
- Fitment issues when replacing an aging Toyota Land Cruiser pressure line
Installation Notes and Tips
Verify the end fitting size and type before installation: this hose uses 16 mm male inverted flare connections at both ends. Confirm routing, length, and clearance against the original line on your 1981-1987 Toyota Land Cruiser before tightening fittings. Inspect surrounding steering components, seals, and fluid condition during replacement to help prevent repeat leaks.
Quality Assurance
Each Sunsong pressure hose is high-pressure tested before it leaves the factory to confirm proper operation and installation readiness. Part number 3401757 is manufactured to exceed original equipment performance standards for pressure, burst strength, and tensile load.
