Detailed Description
This Sunsong pressure hose assembly is built to restore steering fluid transfer in applications that require a 16 mm male O-ring end and an 18 mm male O-ring end, with a length of 67.5 inches (1715 mm). The Sunsong 3403303 is made for 2009-2011 Chevrolet Aveo, 2009-2011 Chevrolet Aveo5, 2009-2010 Pontiac G3, and 2009 Suzuki Swift+, making it a direct-fit choice for pressure line replacement on these vehicles. It is manufactured with steel tubing and CSM hose construction to support long service life in demanding underhood conditions.
This part cross-references Four Seasons 55382 and Gates 366161 for the same application.
Common Problems This Part Can Address
- Power steering fluid leaks from a worn or damaged pressure hose
- Steering assist loss caused by pressure line failure
- Corrosion-related hose deterioration in harsh road conditions
- Noise or inconsistent steering response from restricted fluid flow
- Fitment issues when replacing a hose that no longer seals properly
Installation Notes and Tips
Verify the end fitting sizes and hose routing before installation. The 16 mm and 18 mm male O-ring connections should match the vehicle’s original steering line interfaces, and the 67.5-inch overall length should be checked against the factory routing path. Inspect related seals, brackets, and mounting points on the vehicle before installing the new hose.
Quality Assurance
Each hose is pressure tested at the factory before shipment. Sunsong states that this assembly exceeds original equipment performance standards for pressure capacity and durability, with corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel tubing used to help maintain long-term reliability.
