Detailed Description

TYC 20-12214-00 is a left headlight assembly for the Pontiac G8, engineered for 2008-2009 models with halogen lighting. The clear lens, plastic housing, and complete-assembly design make it a practical OE-style replacement when the original headlamp is cracked, cloudy, or no longer lighting properly. This unit includes the low beam, high beam, park lamp, and front signal light bulbs, helping restore the front lighting system with a single replacement assembly. The part also cross-references Partslink GM2502328 and Pontiac 92224812 for the same application.

TYC Regular is the brand’s standard replacement line for drivers who need a direct-fit exterior lighting component that follows the original vehicle configuration. For Pontiac G8 owners searching for a left headlight assembly, Pontiac G8 headlight replacement, or TYC 20-12214-00, this part is built around the factory-style fitment and lighting layout.

What It Helps Fix

• Broken or cracked left headlight lens
• Dim, failed, or inconsistent halogen headlight output
• Moisture intrusion from a damaged headlamp housing
• Failed park lamp or front signal light function in the headlamp assembly
• Restoration after collision or front-end body repair

Installation Notes and Tips

Fits 2008-2009 Pontiac G8, left. Verify the vehicle uses the halogen headlamp configuration before installation. Compare the connector, mounting points, and lamp layout to the original assembly before final fitment. Because hardware is not included, reuse the existing mounting hardware if serviceable. After installation, confirm low beam, high beam, park lamp, and front signal operation.
