Detailed Description

TYC 800108C is a cabin air filter built with carbon filter material to help maintain cleaner air inside the vehicle HVAC system. It is positioned at the glove box for service access and is listed for a broad range of fitments across Toyota, Lexus, and Scion platforms. This includes applications such as the Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Corolla, Lexus GX460, Lexus ES350, and Lexus RX350, making it a practical replacement for scheduled cabin air filter maintenance.

This part cross-references FRAM CF10285 and Wix 24160 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Reduced cabin air quality from dust and road debris
• Odors and airborne particles entering through the HVAC intake
• Restricted airflow caused by a loaded cabin filter
• Routine maintenance needs for Toyota and Lexus HVAC systems
• Service intervals where the original cabin filter is due for replacement

Installation Notes and Tips

Install location is the glove box (GB). Access the cabin filter housing behind the glove box, remove the old filter, and confirm the airflow direction before installing TYC 800108C. Because the listed install time is under 5 minutes, this is a fast maintenance item for many supported Toyota and Lexus models. Verify the vehicle year, make, model, and any build notes before ordering, especially on applications with Type 1, Type 2, Canada-built, Japan-built, or France-built notes.

Quality Assurance

TYC supplies replacement HVAC components for automotive service applications, and this cabin air filter is built to match the listed fitment and carbon-filter specification for the covered vehicles.
