The carbon filter media is intended for routine HVAC filtration service, helping maintain cleaner air entering the cabin through the heating and air conditioning system. For drivers searching for a cabin air filter for Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, or GMC Acadia models, TYC 800178C matches the listed applications and service location.

This part cross-references FRAM CF11663 and Purolator C26205C for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Reduced airflow caused by a loaded cabin filter
• Dust and debris entering the HVAC intake path
• Odors and airborne contaminants passing through the climate system
• Service intervals where the original cabin filter is due for replacement
• HVAC performance complaints tied to restricted filtration

Installation Notes and Tips

Install location is the glove box (GB). Access the cabin filter housing through the glove box area, remove the old filter, and install the replacement in the same orientation as the original. Verify the vehicle year, make, and model before service, especially on Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia applications.
