Common Issues This Part Can Address

• Headlight does not ignite or stays dark
• Intermittent HID lamp operation
• Adaptive headlight system fault related to ballast failure
• Flickering or unstable low-beam output
• OE ballast replacement after electrical wear or internal failure

Installation Notes

Confirm the OE number 63117182396 and verify that the vehicle is equipped with Adaptive Headlights [S524A] before ordering. Compare the original ballast dimensions and connector layout to the V20-73-0178 unit before installation. Because this component is part of the exterior lighting system, proper diagnosis of the bulb, wiring, and headlamp assembly should be completed before replacing the ballast.
