What It Helps Address

• Faulty parking assist warning behavior at the front outer bumper
• Loss of obstacle detection near the vehicle corners
• Sensor housing damage from minor bumper contact
• Exterior mismatch when replacing a painted bumper sensor
• Diagnostic trouble codes related to the parking aid system

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the vehicle position before ordering: this sensor is listed for front outer use only. Compare the part number, connector style, and physical dimensions against the removed unit before installation. Because the sensor is paintable, finish it to match the bumper color before final assembly when required by the repair process. For best results, verify parking aid system operation after installation and clear any stored fault codes if needed.
