Detailed Description

WAI MAF10058 is a replacement mass air flow sensor designed for vehicles that rely on accurate intake airflow data for fuel and engine control. The sensor uses a single oval female connector, blade terminals, and digital temperature technology to match the electrical and physical requirements of the original unit. This part number MAF10058 is listed for many applications, including Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, Hyundai Genesis, and Kia Sedona models.

The Sensor Only product line is focused on replacement sensors rather than assemblies, making it a practical choice when the original sensor element is the service item. This part cross-references Hyundai/Kia OE numbers such as 28164-3C100 and 28164-3F100 for the same application.

Common Issues This Part Can Address

• Incorrect airflow readings from a failing sensor
• Rough idle caused by inaccurate intake data
• Hesitation or poor throttle response
• Check engine light related to mass air flow sensor faults
• Fuel trim problems tied to sensor signal drift

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify connector shape, terminal count, and application before installation. This sensor uses a female oval connector with 5 blade terminals and does not include mounting hardware or a mounting bracket. Confirm the vehicle’s original sensor configuration matches the listed fitment before replacing the part.

Quality Assurance

WAI states that this sensor is manufactured to meet or exceed OE specifications and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The brand also notes the use of high-grade materials and precision engineering for fit, performance, and service life.
