Walker 211-91031 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Overview

Walker Products 211-91031 is an engine coolant temperature sensor for Nissan and INFINITI applications that rely on accurate coolant temperature data for ECM control. It uses a 2-terminal blade connection with a rectangular female connector and a 12.0 threaded end diameter for direct-fit service on listed vehicles.

Built for real-time temperature reporting, this sensor supports proper fuel delivery, ignition timing, cold-start enrichment, and cooling fan operation. The Walker Full Service Kit line is focused on OE-style replacement parts for factory systems, and this sensor follows that approach with a direct-fit design.

• Hard starting or rough cold-start operation
• Incorrect fuel mixture from inaccurate temperature input
• Cooling fan behavior tied to faulty temperature readings
• Poor drivability caused by ECM temperature data errors

Installation Notes and Quality

Verify connector style, terminal count, and threaded end diameter before installation. This sensor uses a female rectangular connector with two blade terminals and does not include a wiring harness. On listed applications such as Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Murano, and INFINITI QX50, confirm the sensor location noted in the fitment data, including thermostat housing, water outlet, radiator, or intake manifold where specified.

Walker Products designs this sensor to align with OE specifications for resistance, thermal response, and signal output so it integrates with factory ECM systems. Part number 211-91031 is built for consistent coolant temperature reporting across the listed Nissan and INFINITI fitments.
