Detailed Description

Walker 27264 is part of the Quiet-Flow SS line, a product family focused on direct-fit exhaust replacement with a balanced combination of appearance, acoustics, and durability. The muffler’s aluminized steel body helps resist corrosion better than low-carbon steel, while the internal construction is engineered to maintain structural integrity in service. This part number 27264 is listed for multiple vehicle applications, including Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and Chrysler Pacifica, along with several Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana configurations and Jeep Cherokee coverage. For buyers searching for a Chevrolet Colorado muffler replacement, GMC Canyon exhaust muffler, or Jeep Cherokee direct-fit muffler, this unit matches the listed application data and connection style.

Common Issues It Can Address

  • Excessive exhaust noise from a worn muffler
  • Corrosion-related muffler deterioration
  • Fitment problems when replacing a factory-style exhaust muffler
  • Damaged internal muffler components affecting exhaust tone
  • Need for a direct-fit replacement with pipe connections

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle application, engine/emissions configuration, and exhaust layout before installation. Some listed applications note welded assemblies; in those cases, replace all required exhaust components as specified by the vehicle setup. Confirm inlet and outlet orientation, offset placement, and overall dimensions before final installation. This part number 27264 is a direct-fit muffler, so matching the original configuration is important for proper alignment.

Quality Assurance

Walker Quiet-Flow SS mufflers are built with aluminized steel and reinforced internal construction for dependable exhaust service. Part number 27264 cross-references 2487 and 4809661AH for the same application. Walker 27264 is listed with limited lifetime warranty coverage in the fitment notes for the applications shown.
