Detailed Description

Walker 56117 is built for drivers replacing a worn or damaged exhaust resonator assembly on a Chevrolet Aveo or Chevrolet Aveo5. The design follows original-system tuning principles to support factory-like exhaust note and consistent flow, while the steel construction and aluminized finish provide a durable replacement solution. If you are searching for a Walker 56117 exhaust resonator for 2004-2008 Chevrolet Aveo or 2007-2008 Chevrolet Aveo5, this part is matched to the listed fitment and flange style.

This part cross-references AP Exhaust 68474 and BRExhaust 284-511 for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Exhaust resonance or drone from a deteriorated resonator
• Rust-related failure in the resonator or pipe section
• Leaks at the resonator assembly connection points
• Loss of factory exhaust tone after component wear
• Replacement needs for a damaged Chevrolet Aveo or Aveo5 exhaust section

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle year, model, and flange configuration before installation. This assembly uses a 2-bolt welded flange inlet and outlet, so the mating exhaust components must match the same connection style. Confirm underbody clearance and exhaust alignment during installation to help prevent stress on the pipe and flanges.

Fits 2004-2008 Chevrolet Aveo, N/A. Fits 2007-2008 Chevrolet Aveo5, N/A.

Quality Assurance

Walker designs this resonator assembly to fit, perform, and sound like the original system, using tuning methods aimed at OE-style exhaust characteristics. The part is built from steel with an aluminized finish to support long-term service in the exhaust system.
