Detailed Description

The Wix WP10064 is a cabin air filter for BMW applications that use a panel-style HVAC filter. Its activated carbon media helps trap fine airborne debris while also reducing odors from nearby exhaust sources where the vehicle application calls for odor-removing media. The filter media is enhanced with Microban antimicrobial technology to help protect against bacteria, mold, and mildew growth on the filter surface. This part cross-references BMW OE numbers 64119366401 and 64 11 6 996 209 for the same application.

Compatible With BMW 530i, 530e, 540i, 740i, 745e, 750i xDrive, M5, M850i xDrive, X5, X6, X7, XM, Alpina XB7, and other listed BMW models. The Wix WP10064 is also referenced by part number WP10064 for direct replacement searches.

What This Filter Helps Address

• Dust and pollen entering the cabin through the HVAC system
• Soot and fine airborne contaminants from outside traffic
• Odors drawn in from exhaust exposure in stop-and-go driving
• Reduced cabin air quality caused by a loaded or restricted filter
• HVAC airflow issues related to a dirty cabin filter

Installation Notes and Tips

Replace the cabin air filter at the OEM service interval or sooner if airflow drops or odors increase. Confirm the vehicle uses the Fresh Air or N/A cabin filter position shown in the fitment data before ordering. Always verify the existing filter dimensions and OE reference number during service, especially on BMW 5 Series, 7 Series, X5, X6, X7, and XM applications.
