Short circuit in heating element for driver's side seat. Shocks occur through leather when heater is active. Turned off heat and discontinued use of heating element to avoid damage/burns. Passenger side heating element is still ok.

Heating element for front driver seat shorted, causing it to burn through the leather. Fortunately, i caught it in time before fire or injury. Searching the internet reveals that this has occurred for many others as well, sometimes with more damaging results. *js

The car is having a triad of lights with no problem found. Keep getting 4x4, ABS, brake, and now my passenger seat airbag warning lights. And researching online i found that smiliar year models were recalled for the airbag sensor.
