Vehicle runs o k at first, after 6 or 7 stops at lights or stop signs or for other reasons, when you step on the gas there is no response, the engine is still running, but the car wont go, sometimes it will hesitate and then take off quickly, which is also dangerous.

When driving at highway speeds the car suddenly loses power. My daughter is the primary driver is the vehicle and has had this happen several times. Now the dealer says the transmission is fine but i'd charging $1400 to replace the transmission cooler.

It started as just a cracking noise only when turning the steering wheel to make turns and took it to 2 different mechanics but neither could figure out what is was so now my car is parked til i can come up with almost 700 to 800 dollars to have the cv axels and more replaced .
