Plastic headlight covers are known to deteriorate due to sunlight. I am told i have lost 30% of my headlights' capacity to illuminate the road. Vw wants more than $900 to replace them, claiming they are permanently attached to the entire headlight assemblies.

Timing chain broke at 69,000 miles. Oil changes were kept up with consistently with car. Engine now has to be replaced in order for car to drive. Vehicle was stationary when it stopped working.
