Door actuators/locking mechanisms are unresponsive to remote control. Unable to lock or unlock the vehicle from the outside, nor is it possible to lock or unlock the vehicle from the inside.

My 2001 bmw 330i stopped going in reverse last wednesday. Apparently, this is a known issue, as i was very suprised to see dozens of websites dedicated to this no reverse issue. How come there was no recall for this common failure? *kb

Vehicle has very poor headlight visibility at night due to burnt out plastic reflector bowls from bmw's sub-supplier zkw. Replacement bowls are not available for purchase from bmw. Only fix from them is replacing the entire headlight assembly which costs thousands of dollars.
